The Qaisan Emergency Room in Blue Nile State announced that 425 families have been displaced from the city to several areas across the region as of today (Sunday).
In a statement, the group reported that 54 families fled to the Khartoum by Night area, 70 families to Al-Yas, 130 families to Bakouri, 30 families to Agro, 28 families to Balqwa, in addition to 113 families in Area (12) within the city.
The statement warned that displaced families continue to suffer under harsh humanitarian conditions, with increasing needs for food, shelter, and basic services.
The Emergency Room expressed deep concern and regret over the waves of displacement in Qaisan, driven by the current security and humanitarian situation, which has forced large numbers of residents to leave their homes in search of safety and stability.
The recent escalation has significantly worsened the humanitarian situation, as displaced people face severe shortages of essential needs, including food, water, shelter, and healthcare services, amid major challenges in accessing safe areas.
The group added that it is currently working to distribute food baskets to those affected, according to available resources, in an effort to alleviate the crisis and support the most vulnerable families.
