Collapse of Shelters in Refugee Camp Due to Heavy Rains Leaves Sudanese Injured
Follow-ups - Mashawir

Sudanese refugees are living in catastrophic humanitarian conditions, especially with the arrival of the rainy season and the absence of food and medical aid.
Heavy rains accompanied by strong winds in the “Adré” camp in eastern Chad caused several injuries among Sudanese refugees and the collapse of a number of shelters.
The camp witnessed torrential rains accompanied by a wave of strong winds, leading to injuries of four refugees with varying degrees of severity. They were taken to the field hospital run by Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders).
The injuries resulted from shelters collapsing on the refugees and roofs being blown away by the strong winds.
