Khartoum State continues operations to clear mines and unexploded ordnance
Mashaweer – Reports

The Sudanese government has redeployed the limited teams of demining and unexploded ordnance disposal from South Kordofan and Jebel Aulia to clear the Al-Mogran and central Khartoum areas in preparation for restoring life to the capital.
An official at the National Mine Action Center stated that all buildings in the Al-Mogran tourist area — which includes company headquarters and hotels — are considered suspect and require surveying and searches for unexploded ordnance.
The demining teams have placed safety and hazard markers across the Al-Mogran area to protect vehicles and pedestrians from potential danger.
The clearance operations began with service facilities, such as the Al-Mogran water station, to allow maintenance crews to start rehabilitation work at the site.
