“32 Journalists Trapped Under Siege and Bombardment in El Fasher, Sudan”
Reports – Mashawir

With the escalation of fighting in North Darfur State and the rise in human rights violations, along with ongoing artillery and air bombardment, the suffering of journalists in the city of El Fasher continues to worsen.
A number of journalists trapped inside the city said they are “facing extremely harsh humanitarian conditions under the siege imposed on El Fasher.”
A total of 32 journalists are enduring dire humanitarian circumstances, unable to move around and facing great difficulty in carrying out their media work.
They pointed out that “professional communication now depends on the satellite service Starlink, which provides them with the bare minimum of external connectivity amid the collapse of most communication services.”
