A delegation from the Civil Democratic Alliance of Revolutionary Forces “Somoud”, led by Dr. Abdalla Hamdok, President of the Alliance, met with His Excellency Dr. Abderaman Koulamallah (Abdallah Saber Fadul), Minister of Foreign Affairs and African Integration of the Republic of Chad.
The Somoud delegation provided a detailed briefing on the evolving situation in Sudan. They presented their vision for stopping the war, achieving a just and sustainable peace, and restoring the path to a civil democratic transition to end the tragedy of the conflict and meet the Sudanese people’s aspirations for peace.
The delegation expressed its deep gratitude and appreciation to the leadership and people of the sisterly Republic of Chad for hosting millions of Sudanese refugees who found shelter and haven in Chad from the “hell of war.”
His Excellency Minister Dr. Abdallah Saber Fadul reaffirmed Chad’s commitment to ending the bloodshed in Sudan and their support for all regional and international peace initiatives. He emphasized that the only way forward is through peaceful, negotiated solutions owned and led by the Sudanese people themselves.
