The head of the Civil Democratic Alliance of Revolutionary Forces “Somoud” and former Sudanese Prime Minister, Abdalla Hamdok, congratulated the Sudanese people on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr.
In a post on his official Facebook page, Hamdok said: To our patient people at home and in exile, I send you my sincerest congratulations on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr.
He added: This year, the holiday arrives with our hearts heavy, but our belief in a nation that accommodates everyone remains stronger than all challenges.
He continued: We ask God to bring it back to us in security and peace, for the war to stop, for the voice of wisdom to rise, and for our country to return to the path of stability and justice.
He further stated: We send our sincere wishes to our brothers in the Gulf states for security and peace as they face aggression and challenges that affect their stability, confirming our solidarity with them in the face of everything that threatens their security and stability.
He concluded: Sudan deserves the best, and its people are capable of creating a future worthy of their sacrifices.
