The Bureau of African Affairs at the US State Department stated that the atrocities committed by the SAF and the RSF against civilians and humanitarian workers are “appalling.”
It added, “Sudanese families should not have to live in terror of drone strikes.”
The Bureau continued, “Both sides have attacked World Food Programme facilities, killed workers, and destroyed supplies.”
The Bureau of African Affairs called for an urgent humanitarian truce between the two parties, the SAF Forces and the RSF Forces.
