Dar Hamar Emergency Room Warns of Deteriorating Humanitarian Conditions for Displaced People from West Kordofan

Al-Nuhud – Mashaweer

The Dar Hamar Emergency Room has warned that displaced people arriving from West Kordofan State are facing extremely difficult humanitarian conditions in displacement centers in the city of El Obeid, amid a growing number of residents and limited available resources.

The Emergency Room stated that the camps are severely overcrowded and suffering from a significant shortage of tents and essential shelter supplies. It also highlighted challenges in the mechanisms for distributing humanitarian assistance, resulting in aid failing to reach the most vulnerable families.

The organization further warned of the deterioration of basic services within the camps, particularly in the areas of healthcare, access to safe drinking water, and education.
