The International Organization for Migration (IOM) has reported that more than 4,500 families were displaced from various areas in the North, West, and South Kordofan states over the past week due to fierce clashes between the Sudanese army and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF).
According to the organization, 1,821 families were displaced from the city of Al-Dibibat in Al-Qoz locality, South Kordofan, after RSF forces took control of the city last Thursday, which had previously been held by the army.
Meanwhile, 2,715 families fled from the city of Al-Khuwei following battles between the army and the RSF.
