Sudanese Doctors Call for Safe Corridors to Evacuate Thousands of Civilians from El Fasher
Mashawir – Reports

The Sudanese Doctors Network has called for the opening of safe corridors to evacuate thousands of civilians who remain forcibly trapped inside El Fasher, the capital of North Darfur, amid dire humanitarian conditions that the city has been experiencing since last October, alongside the disruption of communication and internet services.
The network accused the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) of killing four people, including a child, in the Al-Daraja neighborhood of the city, noting that the continuation of such violations poses a direct threat to civilian lives and constitutes a breach of all international laws designed to protect them.
In its statement, the network urged the international community and humanitarian organizations to intervene immediately to save the civilians trapped in the city and to pressure the armed groups that have been demanding ransom for allowing residents to leave, in addition to separating families from one another.
