The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) announced that agricultural communities in the city of Tokar in eastern Sudan have received new tractors and agricultural equipment.
It noted that this step allows farmers to develop production methods, expand cultivated lands, and enhance the stability of livelihoods in rural areas.
It stated that with support from the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development, one thousand farmers will be able to access modern agricultural tools that help reduce manual labor, speed up cultivation processes, and increase productivity in eastern Sudan.
