The report described the nutritional situation in Darfur as the most severe, noting that 13 out of 17 surveys conducted across the region exceeded the emergency threshold.

It also indicated that five out of 20 surveys conducted in Telseuk in Kassala State; Ombada and Omdurman in Khartoum State; Al-Rahad in Gedaref State; and Jabra Al-Sheikh in North Kordofan State exceeded the emergency threshold.

The report further stated that surveys conducted in Blue Nile, Sennar, South Kordofan, Central Darfur and White Nile states did not exceed the emergency threshold.
