Humanitarian Interventions to Support Communal Kitchens and Charitable Food Centers in Khartoum State
Mashawir – Follow-ups

The humanitarian crisis facing residents of Khartoum has worsened, particularly after the depletion of financial savings and the halt of daily wage activities.
In response, the Sudanese Red Crescent Society, with support from the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, has launched a humanitarian intervention plan in Khartoum State aimed at supporting communal kitchens and charitable food centers across the state.
Osama Mustafa, the director of the Red Crescent in Khartoum, announced the launch of the “Eid al-Adha Joy” program, which focuses on supporting communal kitchens in peripheral areas of the Jabal Awliya and Omdurman localities.
