Deteriorating Humanitarian Conditions for Displaced People in Northern State
Follow-ups – Mashawir

Thousands of displaced people fleeing Darfur and Kordofan are experiencing dire humanitarian conditions in the city of Al-Dabba, located in Sudan’s Northern State.
Their suffering includes a shortage of food, drinking water, and shelter materials, despite the intervention of some national and international organizations to provide humanitarian support.
Over the past six months, Northern State has received thousands of displaced families, leading to overcrowding in both shelter centers and surrounding areas.
Most of the displaced have lost their belongings and lack the means to cope with the high cost of living in the city—especially amid the absence of job opportunities.
