
Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Idris Ismail, met in his office with a delegation from the European Union currently visiting Sudan to discuss development projects expected to be funded by the EU.
The delegation is scheduled to visit Khartoum on Monday to inspect several EU-funded projects in Sudan.
During the visit, the delegation will meet with officials to reaffirm the EU’s commitment to providing financial support for these initiatives.
Earlier, a European Union delegation led by Julia Hylland, Executive Director for Policy at the European Commission in Brussels, had arrived in Port Sudan, the country’s temporary administrative capital.
