Continuous Influx of Displaced People Fleeing El Fasher to Safer Areas
Mashawir – Reports

The flow of displaced people fleeing El Fasher to safer areas across Darfur has continued for the fourth consecutive day, amid worsening security and humanitarian conditions in the city following its fall to the Rapid Support Forces (RSF).
According to aid workers, more than 10,000 displaced people — mostly women and children — have arrived in Tawila, North Darfur, in dire humanitarian conditions after walking for over five days under severe hardship.
Meanwhile, hundreds of other displaced families have reached Kutum, located 136 kilometers northwest of El Fasher, also in extremely desperate circumstances.
Humanitarian volunteers reported that many of the new arrivals lost dozens of relatives inside El Fasher or during their escape. Several children and elderly people reportedly died along the way due to exhaustion and lack of food and water.
The volunteers added that more than 200 families arrived in Kutum on Wednesday and Thursday, including sick and wounded individuals who are in urgent need of medical care, shelter, food, and clean drinking water.
