The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) in Sudan indicated that insecurity continues in El Fasher despite a reduction in fighting since the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) took control of the city. Humanitarian organizations are still facing difficulties in accessing civilians inside the city.
The office noted that around 300 displaced people continue to arrive daily in the city of Al-Dabbah in Northern State, with the total number of displaced persons exceeding 106,000 by late October.
OCHA also revealed that more than 1,600 people have been displaced from the Kertala area in South Kordofan due to escalating violence and clashes.
