The General Coordination for Displaced Persons and Refugees in the Darfur region stated that millions of displaced people in camps spread across Darfur and other areas of Sudan are living in dire conditions, deprived of the most basic necessities of life.
The official spokesperson for the Coordination, Adam Regal, pointed out that the suffering of the displaced in Darfur is not merely a humanitarian crisis, but a systematic violation of human rights.
He noted that the situation requires a comprehensive approach that goes beyond emergency relief to sustainable solutions that guarantee dignity and basic rights.
He continued, saying that the continuation of the current crisis without effective intervention threatens regional stability and undermines universal human values.
