Massad Boulos, adviser to the U.S. President on African and Middle Eastern affairs, said that a “productive meeting” brought him together with Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty, during which they jointly explored concrete steps to help bring an end to the catastrophic humanitarian crisis in Sudan.
The meeting also addressed strengthening the strategic partnership between Egypt and the United States.
Both sides emphasized the importance of continued coordination and consultation on issues of mutual interest, in a way that supports security and stability in the Middle East and Africa.
According to a statement by the Egyptian Foreign Ministry, the meeting represents a step toward strengthening bilateral relations and presenting a unified vision on regional challenges.
