Expanded meetings of the Sudanese forces that signed the Declaration of Principles for building a new Sudan are set to begin today, Friday, in the Kenyan capital, Nairobi, in preparation for signing the political declaration.
Among the prominent political and civil leaders who arrived in Nairobi to participate in the two-day meetings are the head of the Civil Democratic Alliance of the Forces of the Revolution “Sumoud,” Abdalla Hamdok, the leader of the Sudan Liberation Movement, Abdel Wahid al-Nur, representatives of the National Umma Party, the Sudanese Congress Party, the Arab Socialist Baath Party – Original Wing, the Federal Gathering, the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement – Democratic Revolutionary Current, and the Baath Party, in addition to leaders from civil society organizations, civil forces, and several public figures.
