The Dar Hamar Emergency Room stated that a force belonging to the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), traveling in ten combat vehicles, stormed the market of Al-Bayad area in Al-Nuhud locality, West Kordofan State, and assaulted citizens present in the market.
In a statement, the group said that the attacking force looted the entire market and, under threat of arms, seized traders’ property and merchandise.
The statement added that while the RSF claims to be protecting local communities and markets, the reality on the ground reflects the opposite.
The RSF has controlled the city of Al-Nuhud since May 2025 following intense clashes with the Sudanese Armed Forces, which subsequently withdrew to the city of El Obeid, the capital of North Kordofan State, amid escalating fighting across the Kordofan region since March of the same year.
