The International Organization for Migration’s Displacement Tracking Matrix (DTM) reported a fire at the “Al-Affad” displacement camp in Al-Dabba town, Al-Dabba locality, Northern State.
According to the DTM’s preliminary estimates, the fire affected approximately 91 families and destroyed around 91 shelters.
The affected families were forced to seek temporary accommodation with host families and in open areas within the locality.
The DTM confirmed that it continues to monitor developments and track displacement and population movements in the area.
It noted that “the reported figures are preliminary estimates and may be updated as more information becomes available.”
