Dar Hamar Emergency Committee: “Rapid Support Forces Carried Out Looting and Kidnapping Operations in Al-Khowei”

The Dar Hamar Emergency Committee reported that Rapid Support Forces (RSF) carried out widespread looting and acts of intimidation in the Ayal Bakhit area of Al-Khowei locality, West Kordofan State, following their withdrawal from Al-Mazroub market over the past two days.

According to the committee, the group looted citizens’ property, commercial warehouses, and several vehicles.

The committee added that the forces kidnapped a local trader, demanding a large ransom for his release, amid a growing state of fear and displacement caused by repeated attacks.

The Emergency Committee warned that the continuation of such violations poses a serious threat to security and stability in the state, urging local authorities and regular forces to intervene urgently to protect civilians and secure rural areas located between Al-Mazroub and Ayal Bakhit.
