The World Health Organization has announced the verification of a new attack targeting a health facility in Sudan.
The organization noted that an assault took place yesterday (Monday) on the British Hospital in the city of El Obeid, North Kordofan State, resulting in injuries to 12 people, including five health workers.
The organization called for an immediate halt to attacks on health facilities.
It emphasized the necessity of protecting health sector workers and patients, and ensuring the continued delivery of medical services without being targeted.
