The Northern State has received around 8,000 displaced people from North Darfur State who fled due to ongoing intense clashes.

Officials in the state reported the arrival of more than 1,000 displaced families from North Darfur, including 470 families from Al-Malha and 568 families from Zamzam IDP camp and Tawila in North Darfur.
