Thousands of Displaced People Living in the Open in Kordofan as Humanitarian Organizations Urged to Intervene
Mashawir – Reports

The government of West Kordofan State reported that more than 75,000 displaced people fled the city of An-Nuhud following its takeover by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF)—marking one of the largest waves of displacement in the state since the outbreak of war.
Ibrahim Yousif Abdelrahman, the Secretary-General of the West Kordofan Government, stated that most of the displaced have moved to villages surrounding An-Nuhud, facing tragic humanitarian conditions.
Meanwhile, more than 6,000 families have arrived in El-Obeid, the capital of North Kordofan State.
Local authorities in El-Obeid have issued urgent appeals to humanitarian organizations to intervene and provide essential aid, stressing that the displaced are living in the open without adequate medical or relief services.
