Displacement from El Fasher Continues Amid Worsening Humanitarian Crisis

The Emergency Room of Abu Shouk Camp announced that eight people were killed and others injured in an artillery attack carried out by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) targeting the Nyafasha market and several residential neighborhoods in the city of El Fasher.

Meanwhile, the International Organization for Migration (IOM) reported that 503 families were displaced from Abu Shouk Camp and El Fasher city between June 4 and June 11.

The organization stated that the families were displaced to other locations within Al-Fashir and Tawila localities in North Darfur.

Residents are enduring severe hardship due to the deteriorating humanitarian and living conditions, a lack of cash, and worsening poverty caused by the halt in daily work activities.
