Doctors Without Borders Launches Campaign to Reach Remote Areas in Darfur

Doctors Without Borders (MSF) announced that, in collaboration with the Ministry of Health, it has launched a wide-scale vaccination campaign since the beginning of June, deploying 12 medical teams to reach remote areas in Central Darfur State.

In a statement, the organization reported challenges such as blocked supply routes, vaccine shortages, and administrative hurdles, which have disrupted routine vaccination campaigns in many areas for several months.

Displaced children are suffering from hunger and malnutrition, which has contributed to the spread of measles.
