Authorities impose curfew in Umm Rawaba after escalation of events
Follow-ups – Mashawir

Security authorities in the city of Umm Rawaba have imposed a full curfew from 6:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., as a precaution against potential threats amid recent developments in the area.
According to the locality’s Security Committee, concerning movements have been detected in some neighborhoods of the city and nearby areas.
The Sudanese army regained control of Umm Rawaba — the second-largest city in North Kordofan State, located on the road linking Khartoum and El Obeid — from the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) last January.
The city is currently experiencing security and stability, with vital facilities and markets having resumed operations long ago.
