El Fasher Resistance: The noose has tightened, the siege is harsher, and death is in every corner

The El Fasher Resistance Committees Coordination sharply criticized the central authorities and Darfur’s leadership.
In a statement, the coordination said: “The noose has tightened, the siege has become harsher, and death lurks in every corner, while El Fasher—which has been fighting on behalf of everyone for more than two and a half years—has been left alone between the hammer of militias and the anvil of official abandonment. Children are choking from hunger, mothers are being executed in shelters, and the elderly are being killed in cold blood.”
Those trapped in El Fasher are living under extremely dire humanitarian conditions, with hunger and disease spreading due to the lack of food supplies and basic services amid ongoing clashes and a suffocating siege.
Meanwhile, the cholera outbreak has continued its rapid spread across Darfur, with the death toll rising to 515, and the number of infections reaching 12,305, according to the latest update from the General Coordination for Darfur Displaced Persons.
