On Friday evening, a delegation from the Sudanese Principles Declaration Forces met with representatives of diplomatic missions and international organizations in Nairobi, the Kenyan capital, at the invitation and with arrangements by the Embassy of the Kingdom of Norway.
The meeting discussed the humanitarian catastrophe in Sudan, the Sudanese Principles Declaration Forces’ comprehensive vision for ending the war, and its roadmap for achieving a cessation of hostilities. It also addressed the joint position reached by anti-war forces in Addis Ababa and announced on August 23, as well as their position on the Quintet, what is expected of it, and the roles required of regional and international actors.
The delegation responded to questions and inquiries raised by representatives of the diplomatic missions of Norway, the United States, and the Netherlands, as well as representatives of international organizations.
The meetings and efforts with regional and international actors will continue in pursuit of an end to the war and the achievement of lasting peace in Sudan.
