Sudanese Leaders Call for Saving Residents of Dilling and Kadugli from Hunger and Disease
Follow-ups – Mashawir

Sudanese leaders have called for urgent action to save more than half a million residents of Dilling and Kadugli in South Kordofan, who are facing catastrophic conditions that threaten their lives due to the ongoing war and a suffocating siege preventing the delivery of food, water, and medicine.
Signatories of the distress appeal, addressed to international relief organizations and the Red Crescent and Red Cross, stated that the residents of the two cities are living under siege and constant fire, with a complete lack of food. Hospitals in Kadugli and Dilling are unable to provide any medical services or healthcare and are at risk of shutting down.
Children are suffering from severe malnutrition, patients have no access to treatment, and pregnant women are giving birth under extremely dangerous conditions.
The appeal stressed that daily life in South Kordofan has turned into a struggle for survival, noting that what is happening is not merely a humanitarian crisis but a silent catastrophe, where people are dying slowly while the world turns a deaf ear.
