Suffering of the Sick and Wounded from El Fasher Deepens in Tawila Locality
Reports – Mashawir

The spokesperson for the Darfur Displaced and Refugees Coordination Committee, Adam Regal, said that the number of civilians fleeing from the city of El Fasher to the town of Tawila has risen to 11,000.
Regal confirmed that the total number of displaced people who have arrived in Tawila since the outbreak of the war on April 15, 2023, has now exceeded one million, coming from El Fasher and other areas. They are spread across five camps and several shelter centers, while thousands remain without any form of shelter.
He described the conditions of the displaced in Tawila as dire and worsening by the day, noting severe shortages of water, food, and shelter.
Regal added that many among them are suffering from various diseases, malnutrition, and injuries sustained during the bombardment that targeted El Fasher throughout the period of its siege.
