Cholera Response Campaign Targets Over Two Million People in Khartoum

The Federal Ministry of Health announced the launch of the cholera response campaign today (Tuesday) in cooperation with Khartoum State, targeting the localities of Jebel Awlia, Omdurman, Umbadda, Karari, and East Nile.

This initiative marks the first phase of the campaign, which will last for 10 days as part of efforts to combat the epidemic.

The Ministry explained that the campaign targets more than 2.611 million people aged one year and above.

The Ministry of Health confirmed that recent weeks have seen a noticeable decline in cholera infection rates.
