The former Sudanese Prime Minister and head of the Civil Democratic Alliance for Revolutionary Forces “Somoud,” Abdalla Hamdok, condemned the Iranian attack on the Gulf states, considering it a violation of the sovereignty of Arab nations and a threat to regional stability.
Hamdok stated in a post on his official Facebook page that he renews his condemnation “in the strongest terms” of what he described as Iranian aggression against Arab countries, particularly the Gulf states, noting that this attack represents a flagrant violation of national sovereignty and territorial integrity.
He added, “There is no justification for this assault on countries that have always been known as voices of moderation and advocates for peace.” He emphasized his full solidarity with the Gulf states in their defense of their citizens and residents, and in protecting their sovereignty as guaranteed by international law.
Hamdok pointed out that the Gulf states have remained a support for the Sudanese people, as they host millions of Sudanese, providing them with support and sharing livelihoods with generosity and brotherhood.
He warned of the dangers of what he called “the projects of the forces of darkness and extremism” that seek to drag the region into conflicts and adventures that could have serious consequences.
The former Sudanese Prime Minister stressed that the stability of the region and the security of its people represent a shared moral and political responsibility, calling for the avoidance of escalation and for efforts to protect regional security.
