The International Organization for Migration, affiliated with the United Nations, said on Monday that insecurity has forced about 3,500 people to flee from three areas in South and North Kordofan.
It noted that those displaced have moved to other locations within Sheikan locality.
The organization added that the deteriorating security situation forced 950 people to flee from the village of Dubaiker in Al-Quoz locality in South Kordofan, with some of them relocating to Sheikan locality.
It also reported that the situation in Dubaiker, Abu Haraz, and Kazgeil remains tense.
