The United Nations said that Sudan is currently experiencing one of the largest humanitarian crises in the world.
The UN noted that more than 170 humanitarian workers have been killed in Sudan since the conflict began.
It added, “We continue to negotiate to secure humanitarian access and cross front lines, given the vital importance of delivering assistance to those in need.”
The UN stressed that humanitarian assistance may be “the thin line between life and death” for millions of people affected by the crisis.
