Hundreds of Families Displaced from North Kordofan Amid Escalating RSF Attacks

Displacement waves have intensified across villages in North Kordofan State as attacks by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) on civilians increase and essential services dwindle.

Activists and volunteers reported a sharp rise in displacement from the areas of Um Sayala, Um Qarfa, and surrounding villages over the past two days due to RSF assaults.

They noted that hundreds of fleeing families have already reached White Nile State, while other groups remain stranded in small villages along the displacement routes.

Emergency rooms in El-Obeid are struggling to expand the capacity of shelter centers to accommodate the incoming flows of displaced people.
